My long time favorite inexpensive Paris hotel in the Marais finally installed an elevator and dramatically elevated their prices so I looked around for another inexpensive hotel with some charm. I stayed here twice during this trip, each time in a different room, one with a terrace overlooking the Gare de l'Est, another actually a little modernized studio apartment with a kitchen and breakfast area and bedroom. Both had stylish recently modernized spotlessly clean bathrooms, both had comfy beds, the one with the terrace did have some street noise, as would be expected, but I found it delightful to be able to enjoy the view of Paris street life with a cup of coffee... Breakfast was simple and adequate, and there are numerous restaurants of all kinds in all price ranges all around. The location across the street from the Gare de l'Est and with a metro entrance right in front of the hotel makes transportation easy, even to the airport by the RER train that you can get at the nearby Gare du Nord only a few minutes walk away. If you have baggage you can get the Metro from right in front of the hotel to the Gare du Nord and then on to the airport from Gare du Nord. This is a modestly priced, unpretentious, friendly hotel that offers great charm and comfort in a very convenient and interesting location. Highly recommended.

For reasons I did not understand we were upgraded to an "apartment" i.e. a bedroom with sittingroom/kitchenette and shower room. The excellent Covered Market St Quentin was just round the corner, open until 8pm where you an get very good cooked food to eat in the room for a fraction of restaurant prices. Even closer was Monoprix from where we got our breakfast things, though the hotel breakfast was clearly popular and looked good. If we had been staying more than a night this apartment would have paid for itself very soon. In no way luxurious, it was clean and perfectly pleasant, and we were delighted with it. The staff were welcoming and seemed genuinely to want us to be comfortable.

We love the view from the room we always stay in and the little balcony, also the old typically Parisian lift and winding staircase, the decor of the rooms are also more traditional than modern, which we love,it’s a great location to get to everything,WiFi is excellent and also having access to Netflix, the staff are always amazing with us,and we come back every year, always if possible in the same room,we love it here ❤️❤️❤️,we would love it if you could let us know when you are open for bookings next June 🙏🏻

The hotel little Regina is great, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The room is very clean and fairly spacious for just one or two persons. The location is great, with access to trains and the metro just several feet away. Again, the service and the staff is superb. I stayed for 5 days, 11-14 to 11-18-24 and returned today for a 3 day stay. Same staff and hope to have a great stay again. The breakfast is very good.

the hotel was centre of metro line and near the gard el est station. bus stop was front of hotel. if you prefer walk you can run.The hotel was a hub for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation options. Guests could quickly hop on the metro or catch a bus right outside the hotel. For those who enjoyed a leisurely stroll, the bustling streets and vibrant energy of the city were just a short walk away.
